Hi guys,

I am from spain, I just bought a new Cadillac Escalade 2009 Platinium.

I have 2 problems :
- The DVD shows me "wrong region" when I put it into.
- I don't have western union DVD navigation map for my car.

Let me explain to you :

1)
I do have a problem with my headrest rear DVD entertainment system.

It only accepts region 4 DVDs.

Do you have any idea how could I "region free" the DVD player ?
Or at least set it up in region 2.
I think it is an invision system :

Is there anyone having a MAP DVD with western europe map ?
i have an officiel DVD in the truck, but there is only united states / canada map.
Here is the info on the DVD :
2007 NAVTECH
Version 7.3
GM disc map : 25956691

On the file system are a bunch of .KWI files, some directory and a directory called IDX. KWI stands for KIWI, which is an open standard that describes the format map media in car navigation systems.

But still, I can't succeed to put a european map.

I bought a hacked european navigation DVD but it is not working for my vehicle.

Hola amigo,
Tu puedes intentar con un dvd de Saab, es le que tengo en mi Cadillac Sts.
Generalmente funciona bien.
